Health Care Exchanges – PART 17 >>> SB11-200 Passed in Colorado House, Here's how Lawmakers Voted

This is Part 17 in my series about ObamaCare health care exchanges. For the facts on exchanges, be sure to read the entire series here.

Health care exchanges are simply this: State-level bureaucracies that ObamaCare must coerce into existence. Without them, there is no ObamaCare implementation. With them, the federal government has the hands it needs to meddle into and control the health care of every American citizen.

SB11-200 Passed in Colorado’s House of Representatives

Unfortunately for Colorado citizens, the Colorado Health Care Exchange Bill SB11-200 passed both the Colorado Senate and House of Representatives last week, and Colorado will now have the bureaucracy necessary to implement ObamaCare into our lives.

There IS a silver lining to this very dark cloud called ObamaCare exchanges in Colorado.  Every Colorado Republican Senator voted against SB11-200.  Only 13 Colorado House Republicans voted for this Democrat bill (which, strangely enough, was co-sponsored by the Republican House Majority Leader Representative Amy Stephens).  The vast majority of Colorado Republican lawmakers opposed ObamaCare exchanges for Colorado and voted “NO” on SB11-200.

This means that a majority of Republican lawmakers in Colorado  (35 -13) understand that ObamaCare is unconstitutional.  They stood strong for freedom and were unwilling to undermine our Constitution by bringing ObamaCare into Colorado.  This vast majority of Republican lawmakers has given Colorado voters a reason to cheer and know that we do have a majority of Republicans serving in office who will uphold the Constitution and defend our freedoms.

Here’s Who Voted “NO” on SB11-200 – Please Thank Them!

Here are the 20 Colorado House Republicans and single House Democrat who voted for the Constitution and against ObamaCare in Colorado by voting “NO” on SB11-200.  Please contact them and thank them.

Here is the minority block of 13 Colorado House Republicans and the 31 House Democrats who voted against the Constitution and for ObamaCare in Colorado by voting “YES” on SB11-200.  Please contact the Republicans on this list and tell them Colorado voters will remember their alignment with Democrats on this crucial vote, as well as their freedom-choking ObamaCare legacy.
