Health Care Exchanges – PART 16 >>> A Few Good Men & Women in the Colorado Senate

This is Part 16 in my series about ObamaCare health care exchanges. Be sure to read the entire series here.

Health care exchanges are simply this: State-level bureaucracies that ObamaCare must coerce into existence. Without them, there is no ObamaCare implementation. With them, the federal government has the hands it needs to meddle into and control the health care of every American citizen.

Colorado has a Few Good Men … and Women… in the Senate

SB 11-200 is the Colorado Health Benefit Exchange bill that is being co-sponsored by Colorado State House Representative Majority Leader Amy Stephens(R) and Colorado State Senator Betty Boyd(D).  The purpose of the bill is “creating a process for the implementation of a health benefit exchange in Colorado.”

The bill had its final Senate reading and vote today.

The bad news:  SB11-200 passed the Colorado State Senate today.

The good news:  All 15 Republican State Senators voted NO.

So we DO have a Few Good Men and Women in the Colorado State Senate!  PLEASE THANK THEM.

This is a big deal.  Please contact every Republican Senator today and tell them “thank you.”

Tell them “thank you” for standing up to President Obama’s unconstitutional demands.  Thank them for upholding their oaths to the Constitution and for acknowledging ObamaCare as unconstitutional by voting “NO” on SB11-200.  Thank them for voting unanimously as a caucus to send the clear message to America that Colorado Senate Republicans will unify against destructive Marxist principles which affect every American.  And thank them for sending a very clear message to the State House of Representatives that health care exchanges bill SB11-200 must be stopped.

Contact information is at the end of this post.

Now SB11-200 Goes to a State House Committee… and then to the Full House

Now we see if there are a few good men and women in the Colorado State House of Representatives.

I ask these questions to every Colorado State House Representative:

  • “Are you going to be the men and women of courage who are going to stand up and say ‘NO’ to President Obama’s unconstitutional demands?”
  • “Are you going to remember your oaths to uphold the Constitution?”
  • “Will you wisely seek and consider all the facts before voting on a state law which ultimately empowers an unconstitutional federal law?”
  • “Will you protect Colorado citizens from the injurious effects of ObamaCare?
  • “Are you going to be a Charlie Brown… or can Colorado cheer that we have a few good men and women in the State House?

If you want Colorado Representatives to stand up to President Obama’s unconstitutional demands and refuse to put health care exchanges into place, contact them now and ask them the same questions I’m asking here.  Urge them to vote NO on SB11-200.

This bill has potential to move very quickly through committee and into final House vote, where its fate will ultimately be determined.
