On Gay marriage, My Dog is Not a Cat No Matter What the Court Says

The Supreme Court is deciding if it is within its power to take another giant step to fundamentally change society by redefining the meaning of marriage. If the Court does, we will all have choices to make. The war for the acceptance of gay marriage radical activists are waging is not about who is entitled to marry. It is about forcing all Americans to abandon traditional morality which is the fabric of our American society.

Facebook, with help, claims there are 51 genders. I no more accept this than I do my dog is a cat. Who gave radicals the power to redefine the meaning of words in this case gender? No one, but if society closes its eyes to truth any lie takes hold.

Soon, the Supreme Court may decide that marriage can be defined as anything the State forces upon us, perhaps to include 51 genders.  Through that decision the attacks from radical gay activists will not stop, but will only intensify with official recognition of gay marriage by the federal government.  In answering questions of Justice Scalia, Obama administration lawyers admit that if this fundamental change takes place, this Administration will go after Christian Schools unless they abandon Biblical principles.

A city in Idaho is now ready to put Pastors in jail and fine them $1,000.00 a day for not “celebrating” gay marriage by preforming the ceremony. We all know of examples of horrific penalties now being levied on businesses for not “celebrating” the ceremonies of radicals using law to destroy dissenting views. Public school officials in the Washington D.C. area publicly humiliated a young girl for her Biblical world view which prevented her from standing-up in class to signify accepting a lesson of the positives of a gay lifestyle presented to students through a newly minted indoctrination tool called, ‘Diversity Day’. None of this is about marriage or diversity, but it is all about forcing compliance and destroying deeply held religious and moral views.

There are those who believe the answer to the gay marriage debate is to remove government from the marriage sanctioning process altogether and returning it to strictly a function of the Church. The thought being that Believers have the Church sanction and others have contract law as sanctioning their union.

The flaw in this argument is that attacks by radical activists will not stop, as it is not the process of marriage, but the idea of disapproving of gay marriage and the life style that is the real issue. These activists, using the power of the State, will attempt to force Churches to abandon God’s words as God’s influence is the real target, just as it has been for tyrannical monsters throughout history who knew the influence of the Church had to be destroyed before they could gain full power over the population.

This isn’t about marriage; it’s about liberty and freedom. These activists are not acting alone, and sadly in many cases do not realized they are being used.

In advance of the Supreme Court’s ruling, Church leaders, through a petition titled “Pledge in Solidarity to Defend Marriage,” sent the Court a warning saying they will not comply with the Court’s decision if it decides it has the power to change definitions through judicial decree and impose the federal governments will over Churches and God’s word. I’m not sure what their version of civil disobedience could look like or if it will manifest itself in tangible ways, but I signed their document this morning which says in part:

Our highest respect for the rule of law requires that we not respect an unjust law that directly conflicts with higher law. A decision purporting to redefine marriage flies in the face of the Constitution and is contrary to the natural created order. As people of faith we pledge obedience to our Creator when the State directly conflicts with higher law. We respectfully warn the Supreme Court not to cross this line.

My dog is not a cat, marriage is between one man and one woman and no Court can force me to accept any other definition.
