One Response to Act Now to Stop State-Run Healthcare in Colorado

Having been a member of the both the Colorado House and Senate Health and Human Services Committee for nine years, I have seen a constant trend towards single-payer system and one that includes illegal aliens. Numerous bills have passed in the past nine years that have “closed loopholes” and removed personal responsibility as well as usurped the traditional roles of neighbors, friends, families and religious institutions in the delivery of healthcare. Most of these closed “loopholes” removed personal responsibility for healthcare and placed the responsibility on the backs of taxpayers, who are already overburdened. In reality many of these moves were nothing more than a redistribution of wealth. THIS TREND MUST BE STOPPED.
