Here is my mother.
She is the best in the world, still. She is always there for me, always understanding, always patient, and accepts me just as I am. She listens, observes, and counsels wisely when asked. She gave to 4 of us children an example of tenderness, grace, and love which nobody else could have. She introduced to me and instilled within me my faith in Jesus Christ. For that and much more, I am eternally grateful and blessed. She is extraordinary.
Here are some quotes for the day.
“My mother was the most beatiful woman I ever saw. All I am I owe to my mother. I attribute all my success in life to the moral, intellectual, and physical education I received from my mother.” ~ George Washington
“As a mother, my job is to take care of what is possible and trust God with the impossible.” ~ Ruth Bell Graham
“It’s not until you become a mother that your judgment slowly turns to compassion and understanding.” ~ Erma Bombeck
And here’s hoping it’s a sweet Mother’s Day for all.
BTW, my mother is also a self-professed, all-American “tea partier.” Now, who could beat that?
