Communist North Korea is threatening to retaliate with “unexpected consequences” against the enemy warmongering” South Korea, over a “mean attempt for psychological warfare scheme.”
What’s the South’s “scheme?” A Seoul church group wants to erect Christmas tree lights atop a 98-foot-tall tower which sits on a 511-foot hill 2 miles from the border. Read more about it here at FoxNews.
Sounds Just Like the Anti-God Liberal Grinches Here in America
Back here in America, the Freedom From Religion Foundation (be sure to check out their website for abundant and joyful “freethought” ideas <note sarcasm>) seeks permission to hoist a banner next to an East Texas courthouse square nativity display, because as Fox News reports here, the
“…seasonal display on courthouse grounds amounts to an unconstitutional endorsement of the Christian faith.”
Never mind that they can’t find the “separation of church and state” phrase anywhere in the United States Constitution. But who cares about facts?
They’ve already proposed hoisting a joyful banner in Elmwood City, PA. From Fox News, it reads:
“At this season of the Winter Solstice, LET REASON PREVAIL. There are no gods, no devils, no angels, no heaven or hell. There is only our natural world. Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds.”
Looks like somebody doesn’t want Christians to be happy.
Such Cheerful Grinches, Aren’t They?
Considering that the vast majority of America’s founding fathers worshipped the same One whom these “freedom from religion” folks want to suppress… and considering that those same founding fathers are the ones who brought us the rarest freedoms experienced in world history… I challenge these God-hating Grinches to spend a year in North Korea and then author their banner. I might even offer to pay their one-way travel fare.
Those mean, war-mongering Christians. How dare they take joy in the Object of their faith and actually share it so others might know.
Squash the joy, gag the voice, kill the freedom.
