As a guest and for the first time, I entered the local Lifetime Fitness today. Here’s what’s posted on their front doors:
Do you feel safer patronizing a business with a posted no-gun policy?
I don’t. Our society has turned a wretched corner. In my rarely-humble opinion, this policy advertises to potential killers looking for easy victims that the business proclaims sitting ducks out of every client in the building. Evil too easily goes unchecked now, and it needs no further motivation to act (such as a posted policy like this one) than its own sick desire.
But I want to know what you think.
