UN: If the Real Victim is Israel then Silence Her, Convict Her as the Attacker, and Destroy Her

UN Emergency Session on Gaza

UN Emergency Session on Gaza 7/23/2014

Abuse isn’t abuse if the victim is Israel, and any accusations to the contrary must be silenced while Hamas rockets and terrorists continue pouring into Israel in historic numbers.  Historical hatred of Israel veiled behind the mass-spun guise of “Israeli atrocities” continues as more false allegations, spin and anti-Semitic propaganda spews out from all corners of the world.

Yesterday it was all on stage again as the UN held an emergency session on Gaza, which translated means that the UN held an emergency session to frame Israel as the perpetrator of war crimes.

UN Watch’s Hillel Neuer testified to what’s really going on in Gaza.  Amidst multiple nations’ declarations of lies that the attacker (Hamas) is actually the victim, and amidst constant spin that Israel is committing “war crimes, genocide, ethnic cleansing, massacres, and extermination,” Neuer unequivocally stated the facts about the murderous assaults upon Israel:

Never before after 7 decades of Isreal’s existence, has its men, women, and children come under such a massive aerial assault, forcing them, at the sound of air raids sirens day and night, to run for shelter.  Never before in the modern history of nations has a free and democratic society come under such sustained bombardment from a terrorist organization, one that openly strives for and celebrates the murder of civilians and that its general worldview glorifies death.

I turn now to the resolution upon which this Council will soon vote. The text before us denounces Israel, denies its right to self-defense, and disregards Hamas war crimes.

Even Palestinian Ambassador Ibrahim Khraishi admitted … on July 9th that “each and every” Palestinian missile launched against Israeli civilians constitutes “a crime against humanity,” that by contrast, Israel’s own response actions in Gaza “followed the legal procedures…”  And that, by contrast, Israel’s own response actions in Gaza “followed the legal procedures” because, as Hamas spokespersons admitted on TV, “the Israelis warned them to evacuate their homes before the bombardment; but, “as for the missiles launched from our side, we never warn anyone about where these missiles are about to fall or about the operations we carry out.”

Can any UN entity, or any individual, be truly for human rights when they refuse to say that which was said by the Palestinian ambassador himself?

Is it possible that the true purpose of this session is to silence the true victims and voices of human rights around the world by deflecting attention from the world’s worst abuses?

Alas, a sock must be quickly shoved into the mouth of such truths!  Iran, Syria, Egypt, the “State of Palestine,” Cuba, and Venezeula – all such great nations of freedom, peace, and human rights advancements <intense sarcasm> – led the contentious disruptions to silence Neuer multiple times.  Cuba validated Neuer’s rhetorical question with this:

It is inconceivable that a NGO [Non-Governmntal Organization, the UN Watch] should be able to come to this Council to distract us with the little time we have to debate an issue which is of such crucial importance as the genocide being committed currently against the Palestinian people.

Words of lying leftist cowards.  (But what’s new there?)  See Neuer’s testimony and all the other mendacities here:

Predictably, the self-appointed Great Arbiters and world police, the United Nations, voted 29-1 (the one “no” vote was from the United States) with 17 abstentions to launch an inquiry into Isreal’s alleged crimes against humanity.  From the UN website:

The Council condemned in the strongest terms the “widespread, systematic and gross violations of international human rights and fundamental freedoms” arising from the Israeli military operations since 13 June, and called for an immediate ceasefire.

In the resolution, the Council also demanded that Israel immediately reopen the occupied Gaza Strip and called upon the international community to provide urgently needed humanitarian assistance and services to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Never mind the murdered innocent Israelis.  Never mind that Hamas uses Palestinians as human shields  for propaganda sacrifices.  And never mind that Hamas will murder anyone as long as Israel gets the blame and receives universal retaliation for it.

Translation of the UN resolution:  It’s only about human rights if you’re not a Jew.  If Israel is the victim, then silence, convict, and destroy her while aiding and abetting her enemies.

Make no mistake about it:  Hamas’ intent is to obliterate the entire state of Israel and its people.  Regardless of truth and facts and gross human rights violations, the UN will always be ready to assist.
