These Gun-Clinging Pistol-Toting Rifle-Buying Liberals Want You to Give up YOUR Guns

Hypocrisy is high on my list of annoyances, right up there along with deceit. They aren’t one of the “seven deadly sins” but if there were nine, these two would be on the list.

Number one on my list would be Senator Dianne Feinstein, that great defender of the Constitution with a Freedom Index rating of 13 (out of 100). She authored the Clinton Gun Ban back in 1994 and the Assault Weapon Ban of 2013 that she continues to push even though Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid refused to bring it to the floor because he knew it would be rejected. Here’s how Feinstein really feels about guns:

I know the sense of helplessness that people feel. I know the urge to arm yourself because that’s what I did. I was trained in firearms. I walked to the hospital when my husband was sick. I carried a concealed weapon and I made the determination if somebody was going to try and take me out, I was going to take them with me.

Number two would have to be Mark Kelly, husband of anti-gunner Gabby Giffords. I’ve written about his hypocrisy here. His hypocrisy is however, exceeded by that of his wife. As you no doubt remember, he doesn’t like AR15s and has testified against them and ranted against them on his website. He got caught buying an AR15 (and a semi-automatic pistol) from a gun store in Tucson and then claimed that he was just testing the background check laws to see just how easy it would be for anyone to buy a gun over the counter. And then when this went viral, he said he was going to give the weapons to the police department.

Number three on my list would be Michael Moore. The movie producer and left-wing political activist hates guns. He said so on the Rachel Madow show:

the vast majority of these guns are owned by people who live in safe  parts of town or mostly in suburbs and rural areas, places where there are very  few murders. And your sane producer was saying to me backstage here  that he was talking to people there (in Tucson), they said everybody’s packing  there, I mean, the surgeons there at the hospital, they said they have  guns, everybody has a gun, yet they all said we have a very low gun  murder rate here in Tucson. So why do you have a gun then? Why do you have a  gun? What are you afraid of? What is that thing that we’re afraid of that we  want to have a gun in the house?

And yet he has a bodyguard who carries. How do we know this? Because his bodyguard was arrested for carrying an unlicensed weapon at JFK airport.

There are others on my list, too, such as Sarah Brady who bought a 30-06 for her son, and Rosie O’Donnell who hates guns except those carried by her bodyguard, Shania Twain who hates guns but has a bodyguard packing heat, etc., etc.
