I attended the 2011 Leadership Program of the Rockies Annual Retreat at the Broadmoor here in Colorado. The dinner keynote speaker was Dr. Charles Krauthammer, and I had the privilege of meeting him briefly during a photo opportunity.
It goes without saying that Dr. Krauthammer is an incredibly sharp and intelligent person whose analysis and insight contribute greatly to advancing the cause of freedom and our founding principles. But seeing him speak in person revealed a warmth and keen sense of humor not usually seen when he’s being the television news pundit.
